Telephone Calls

My policy is to encourage unscheduled telephone calls only for brief questions, and mainly to identify when it may be necessary to have a full meeting more urgently than previously planned. Simply leave a message at 907-789-3800 and I am usually able to respond within one or two business days.

E-mail & Text

E-mail (to akpsycon@gci.net) and text (available only to established patients) can be efficient means for providing relevant details to consider during your face-to-face next meeting, but are not appropriate for treatment because I cannot provide close monitoring and prompt responses to serial emails or texts. However, I always print out e-mails and texts for the treatment chart, for later review and discussion.
