Emergency Care
…is available by calling 911 or via emergency department ser vices provided by most hospitals after hours or on weekends. Whenever possible, I will make every effort to facilitate the emergency care of my established patients by consulting with emergency personnel by phone or telemedical link. I apologize in advance for the rare occasions when I am delayed or must cancel your appointment because of another patient's emergency.
Acute Inpatient, Residential or Specialized Care…
(e.g. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS), Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), Ketamine (intravenous or intranasal), Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) or advances on the horizon) may be needed when the most intensive (two times per week) outpatient care plan is insufficient, and is arranged by referral after we review carefully all the options available.
